Jeroen D'hoe

I hate music

Jeroen D’hoe, a versatile pianist, has an avid interest in performing music by composers who particularly inspire him, such as Leonard Bernstein, for example, as evidenced by his concert and recording project together with soprano Hanne Roos “Bernstein meets Broadway” (since 2019). In addition, Jeroen D’hoe – as a composer-pianist – also has a passion for performing his own compositions. A recent example is the performance of the new chamber music version of his song cycle “Songs for the Crossing” in collaboration with the Ataneres Ensemble and soprano Hanne Roos in the “Drongenhofkapel – Berlinde De Bruyckere” (2022). In addition, he is regularly invited as a pianist to participate in concert projects by the Flemish Radio Orchestra, for which he also has written all the arrangements: two successive “Great American Songbook” concert projects (2020 and 2022) and the “Great American Songbook – Next Generation” concert project (in 2025).
